FAQ
If yours isn't here, call the demo line or write to us.
Just the ones you miss. Your phone rings first. If you pick up, we're never involved. If you don't, the call rolls to your receptionist after two rings instead of voicemail. If you'd rather it take every call, that's one setting.
It introduces itself as the receptionist for your company, and it sounds like one. It won't pretend to be you, and it won't quote prices or promise work — it books the visit so you can. Anyone who asks for a human is told the truth and offered a callback or, for emergencies, a transfer to your cell.
400 minutes of answered calls — about 200 calls — plus booking into your calendar, spam screening, a text summary after every call, and the recording. There is one price and one plan. No setup fee, no contract.
Minutes past 400 are 30¢ each, and you get a text when you're getting close, so nothing is a surprise. Most one-truck contractors don't come near the limit.
No. You keep the number that's on your truck and your business cards. You forward it to us with one code on your phone — either every call, or only the ones you don't pick up. Turning it off is the same code. If you'd rather have a separate line, we can give you a local number instead.
Works with Google, Outlook and iCloud. You share the calendar once; bookings show up on your phone like any other event, with the customer's name, number, address and what they need.
Screened out. You get a one-line note that it happened, and nothing lands on your calendar. For a lot of contractors that's most of the volume, and it's the part nobody misses.
It doesn't guess. During setup you tell us what it's allowed to say — a service-call fee, a range, or nothing at all — and otherwise it books the estimate. It will never invent a number and put you on the hook for it.
You define what counts as one for your trade — water coming in, no heat in January, a burst pipe. For those it can text you immediately or transfer the call straight to your cell so you're talking to the customer in seconds.
It says it will have you call back, takes the details, and texts them to you right away. It never makes something up to end the call.
About a day, usually less. We ask you maybe fifteen questions — what you do, where you go, your hours, what to say about pricing, who to reach for a true emergency — and we build it. You dial one forwarding code and you're live. Nothing to install.
Yes. Most people forward only unanswered calls, so you pick up when you can and it catches the rest. Turning forwarding off entirely is one code on your phone.
We build your receptionist, you forward your missed calls to it, and for 2 days it answers for real. You hear the recordings and see what lands on the calendar. If you don't want it after that, you dial the code to unforward and you owe nothing. No card needed to start.
No. It's month to month. Cancel by text and we'll help you unforward your number the same day.
Those are the trades we've built the deepest question scripts for, but the receptionist is set up around your business either way. Landscapers, painters, gutter and sewer companies, restoration crews — if customers call you to come out and look at something, it fits.
We're in Philadelphia, PA, and most of our contractors are in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The receptionist itself works anywhere in the US — setup is remote, and it can carry a local number for your area code.
Yes. Every answered call comes with a text summary and a link to the recording, so you can hear exactly what the customer said before you drive out.
Call the demo number. You're the customer. See what lands on the calendar.
